Blake turned FOUR in February. Although February is still considered winter, it's when the almond orchards come to life around here. So we grabbed his "growth lion" and took this 4-year-old to the orchards. He was more interested in the rows of dirt than the blossoms, but he stopped and flashed that smile every now and then 😅

We're surrounded by orchards here in the central valley and I never pass up an opportunity to visit them when they bloom. The Blossom Trail is a good place to start if you want to see them firsthand. Most of the orchards are on private land so stick to roadside viewing unless you have permission to enter.
