Dramatic Dark Magenta Background: A Creative Teen Photo Session Magic happens when you don't have to force a smile for the camera. Don't get me wrong, I love a great natural smile or laugh, but asking teens to look directly into the lens with a serious expression sometimes takes my breath away. In this studio session here at Linda Maier Photography , we wanted to step away from the standard smiling teen portraits. We created a deep magenta backdrop using a gelled light to set the stage.  They relied entirely on posture, presence, and eye contact. The result is pure art. There is a captivating strength in their gaze. The rich, dark backdrop wraps around them, making their features pop. Different backgrounds to change it up a bit The Power of Movement You can only stay serious for so long.
